Your skills can help communities learn, connect and reduce stigma.
NOPDERVMH welcomes volunteers worldwide for remote, non-clinical roles that strengthen community mental-health and substance-use awareness and the organisation's capacity.
NOPDERVMH provides counselling but does not provide clinical services. Volunteer roles do not include diagnosis, medication advice, detoxification, or crisis response.
Current Skills We Are Looking For

Grants and funding research
Find and assess funding opportunities; no grant outcome is guaranteed.
Proposal writing and editing
Develop accurate drafts from leadership-approved facts and budgets.
Volunteer coordination
Help organise applications, onboarding, check-ins and role handovers.
Communications and digital content
Create clear, accessible, approved web and campaign content.
Website and digital support
Improve usability, accessibility and the volunteer application path.
Monitoring, evaluation and learning
Build simple, privacy-conscious ways to measure approved activities.
Partnership research
Map potential collaborators and prepare introductions for leadership review.

Help make approved materials clear and accessible across languages.
Safeguarding and referral-systems advice
Provide bounded, non-clinical advice on volunteer safety, reporting and verified local resource information.
Community awareness and engagement
Support approved activities only where local coordination and safeguarding are confirmed.
Who Can Apply
For this phase, applicants must be at least 18. Remote roles are open to people worldwide, subject to the role's skills, language, time-zone and data requirements. Community-facing, in-person roles are available only in countries and locations where NOPDERVMH has confirmed programme capacity and local supervision.
Time and Expenses
These are unpaid volunteer roles. There is no application fee, stipend or routine expense reimbursement. You will not be asked to purchase equipment, travel, software or data. Each role brief will state the expected hours, duration, supervisor, deliverables and any tools needed; only accept a role you can do without financial burden.
How the Process Works
Choose the role area that best fits your skills and availability.
Complete the application form and privacy acknowledgement. Do not include medical information or details about another person.
Applications are reviewed against role criteria. Shortlisted candidates may have a short conversation and role-related reference or experience checks.
If selected, review the written role brief and volunteer agreement, complete non-clinical induction and agree your first deliverable before work begins.
